How Epoxy Flooring Ontario Works

Epoxy Flooring Ontario coats concrete in Ontario, CA and the cities around it: garages, patios, pool decks, home interiors on slab, shops and warehouse floors. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake and metallic systems. The system gets picked at the slab, after we have looked at it, measured it and tested it.

The Inland Empire is hard on floors in its own way. Summer afternoons at Ontario International Airport average in the low 90s, and the airport has recorded 118°F. Hot tires sit on garage floors every evening. Santa Ana winds push fine dust and sand under the garage door in fall and winter. Many Ontario homes were built in the 1970s and 1980s, so their slabs carry decades of oil, paint and patch work. Those conditions decide how we prep and what we put down.

How a job runs

  • We visit, measure the floor and look for cracks, old coatings, oil, efflorescence and damp spots.
  • We test moisture where it matters, especially on slabs that sit on grade inside the house.
  • You get a written quote listing the prep, each coat, the finish and the total.
  • The concrete is diamond ground so the first coat bonds to clean, open concrete.
  • Cracks and chipped joints are filled before any coating goes on.
  • We tell you when to walk on the floor, when to move things back and when to park, based on the product and the day's temperature.
  • If the scope changes, we write it up and you approve it before we do it.

We only coat concrete. If a slab has a problem a coating will not fix, such as a crack that keeps moving or water coming up from below, we say so at the estimate.
